We picked the ingredients of this product literally from all over the world. We chose places where the individual fruits thrive the most. Treat yourself to a fresh mix of exotic flavours of mildly sour maqui, citrus tones of baobab enriched with deliciously sweet lucuma, gently accentuated by bananas.

We purposefully added Maqui and Acai to Bio bora Refresh to ensure, among other health benefits, a high ORAC value. It expresses the antioxidant capacity of foods to fight free radicals. Vitamin C is also a factor in protecting cells from oxidative stress. Significant amounts of this micronutrient also contribute to normal collagen formation as well as to the normal function of the immune system, nervous system and to normal energy-yielding metabolism.

We created Bio bora Refresh in cooperation with nutritional experts to make sure the individual components support each other and, at the same time, their active ingredients are easy to use for the body. Bio bora Refresh is, in short, a tasty and nutritious bomb for everyday use!

Banana

Banana is one of the most popular types of exotic fruits in the world. It is grown in more than 107 countries, mainly in South America, Asia and Africa. One of the valuable nutrients in bananas is potassium. Taking this mineral in significant amounts contributes to the maintenance of normal blood pressure, normal muscle function and normal functioning of the nervous system. Thanks to the fibre content, this delicious fruit is a good choice for a natural prebiotic.

Lucuma

Originating in the heart of South America, this fruit is also called the “gold of the Incas”. And it is no coincidence. Lucuma is a sweet fruit with a caramel flavor enriched with essential nutrients. Thanks to its nutritional content and low glycemic index, this yellow fruit is a healthy alternative to sweeteners. Lucuma also contains plant compounds known as polyphenols andcarotenoids, which are being studied for their antioxidant properties.

Baobab

The fruits of Baobabs, also known as the “tree of life”, contain a high amount of fibre and are therefore a very suitable supplement for various diets. These dark purple berries grown in South America are among the superfoods with the highest ORAC value, which expresses the total antioxidant capacity of this exotic fruit. The pigmentation of maqui berries is due to the plant compounds known as anthocyanins. In addition to their effect on fruit colour, these compounds are being studied for their possible antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. As a rich source of nutrients, Maqui berries played an important role in traditional indigenous medicine.

Acerola

Small fruit, remarkably similar to cherry, is considered one of the richest natural sources of vitamin C. A significant amount of this vitamin is valuable not only in protecting cells from oxidative stress, but also contributes to the reduction of fatigue, the normal function of the immune system and normal energy-yielding metabolism. It also contains a generous dose of carotenoids and flavonoids, which are being studied for their possible antioxidant effects.

Acai

What is ORAC and what value do acai and maqui which we added to Bio bora Refresh have?

The ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) value is obtained during a laboratory test that evaluates the “total antioxidant capacity” of a food. The food sample is placed in a test tube with free radical generating molecules as well as molecules sensitive to oxidation. After a while, it is measured how well the food sample protected the vulnerable cells from oxidation. The less free radical damage, the higher the ORAC value.  Acai and maqui which we added to Bio bora Refresh have ORAC value:Acai (208,628 μmol TE/100g) and Maqui (50,000 μmol TE/100g).

Are synthetic vitamins and minerals added to Bio bora Refresh?

Bio bora Refresh is made from purely natural ingredients without any added synthetic substances. Vitamins and minerals are no exception. The total content is the sum of naturally occurring vitamins and minerals in individual natural ingredients, which are also in 100% organic quality.

How did we make Bio bora Refresh taste so great?

No artificial flavours, sweeteners or preservatives! That is our key principle. When creating Bio bora Refresh, we joined forces with nutritional specialists and took care to preserve the purely natural character even when flavouring it.
